Very good clinic, they even have a cat waiting room and cat only rooms for the vet visit. The team here at Columbia Pike Animal Hospital took excellent care of my little Dimmu. They even gave her a treat!

My dog was admitted here for emergency supportive care for 48 hours a couple weeks ago. The front desk staff was amazing and every vet I spoke to explained his situation clearly. Unfortunately, his story ended sadly as he wasn’t recovering and I had to put him down. The staff showed much strength and kindness while I processed everything and went through it. They were also kind enough to work in some discounts for me. Truly a wonderful place and I thank them endlessly for what they tried to do for my dog

I have been a customer here for years but I left due to my fair share of ups & downs with the staff & it is taking me a long time to write this review. My dog goes to different practice because he was already on a plan when I adopted him and it made more sense to keep him on that plan, but my cats (& previous dogs) were patients here & we used to board our dogs here too. When they were good, I would constantly tell people to go here but after we had a hellish experience we shared our trauma & literally told people to stay far away from here! And we stayed far away from here! My good times here have been amazing & one of the vets saved my beautiful baby during the same hellish experience with the jerk of a vet who caused us to let go of our baby. But sadly the amazing vet moved and so I swore this place off! I needed a new vet and I really went down the rabbit hole of research and was actually brought right back here and I am so grateful that we found Dr. Candace Flynn! She is simply a dream and the most amazing, compassionate and caring vet I think I have ever met and my kitty is so comfortable with her it’s pure love! Dr. Flynn - She gets FIVE STARS!!! - is also wonderful with her advice and guidance. She’s very communicative and informative and just well-rounded with a holistic approach, but the amount of time and love she spends with your pet (and you) is priceless!!! They are a 24-hour emergency care, veterinary hospital, fully equipped, and fully staffed round the clock. They also have a separate, waiting room for dogs and cats to help ease the anxiety. They also have a sister hospital in Arlington and Clifton Virginia. Yes, they are a bit pricier but you’re inside the beltway & 15 minutes from DC so what do you expect?! Thankfully, there has been more good than bad and I know which vet to steer clear from & I still forewarn people about her! 7/2/26

DO NOT COME HERE!!! I came here with my baby and they charged me 1000$ to see the vet and they still didn’t tell me what’s wrong. I told them she was freaking wheezing and that she was having breathing problems when they gave her back to me I double backed on that and they gave me no answer and no resolution!!!! Now my baby is mouth breathing and it’s horrible!!! THEY DID NOT PAY ENOUGH ATTENTION TO HER. She said that she didn’t really hear her wheezing that it sounded like she just sneezed. HAD THEY SPENT 5 minutes they would have realized and heard her breathing problem!!! I took her home with me and as soon as I got her I heard it. They neglected my baby TOOK MY MONEYYY!!! And didn’t even help they wasted my time!!! I want my money back!!!I don’t EVEN have enough money to take her to an actual good vet that will actually take care of her anymore because they took all I had. Don’t make The same mistake I made and bring your sick baby here!!!! They had me waiting for 5 hours just for my baby to be the same as she came in. I tried getting in touch with the doctor WHICH she was so busy she couldn’t talk to me and she said she would give me a call I NEVER GOT A CALL!!!! INSPITE OF THAT I called and again I didn’t even talk to a nurse or doctor or anything, DESPITE THATTTTT. I left a voicemail and I got NO response back which they said they would call back in 24 hours AND IT WAS A LIE BECAUSE I STILL HAVE YET TO RECIEVE A CALL!!!!!! This place showed disinterest in my baby, if anything happens worse it’s on them for their careless neglect!
