I honestly cannot say enough amazing things about Pine Meadow Vet and Dr. Freeman. After moving to Virginia, we haven’t experienced this level of care since our time in New York and Massachusetts. The care we received was truly outstanding, top notch, and exactly what my almost 14-year-old dog needed. Dr. Freeman provided the most thorough wellness exam my senior dog has ever had. He didn’t just do a quick check — he truly looked at everything, including her paws, eyes, back and overall condition. He took the time to really see my dog and understand her needs. We also discussed her tumor and the next steps. Dr. Freeman took the time to explain the different types of tumors, biopsy/debulking options, and why anesthesia can still be necessary in certain situations. I really appreciated his honesty, knowledge, and the way he actually talked through everything with me instead of rushing through the appointment. The entire team was so kind and compassionate. They even asked if she would be okay getting her blood drawn in the back since she was new to their office. I said yes because she has done this before, but she can be a little more anxious in a new environment. They reassured me afterward that she did wonderfully, and I appreciated how much they cared about making sure she was comfortable. I also want to say how much I appreciated them seeing my dog for who she is. A muzzle does not define a dog — it is simply a safety tool that responsible owners use when needed. My girl is incredibly sweet, and with over 10 years of experience as a dog trainer, I know how important it is to understand canine body language and help make veterinary visits as positive and low-stress as possible. Pine Meadow Vet truly supported that. We were able to move forward with bloodwork and an FNA, and I finally feel hopeful that we are getting real answers and options for her tumor. I am beyond grateful that my senior pup received the care, respect, and compassion she deserves. Dr. Freeman is simply the best. I wish I had more words to describe how wonderful this experience was. We will recommend Pine Meadow Vet to everyone, and we are so thankful to have found a veterinary team we can trust. ❤️

The front office staff upon answering the phone to checking us in are ALWAYS kind, compassionate and friendly!🤗❤️🦮🦮🦮 They really work to see if they can get you in ASAP and on the days they are booked "if" possible they will really try to get you in the very next available appointment.👍👍👍 The Vets are Awesome too!👨‍⚕️🧑‍⚕️🩺❤️🐕 They are great with my dogs, from greeting them in the exam room, giving them calm affection while examining my dogs, to giving me options that work best for my dogs my budget. (Unexpected vet visits can happen quickly!!🤦‍♀️🤷‍♀️) You really see the Veterinarians are there for the love and passion they have for the animals and us "anxious guardians" reassuring us our pets are in GREAT LOVING hands and hearts! I've worked in day vet clinics, affordable vaccine clinics, emergency vet hospitals and as an EMT on ambulances and Hospital ER 's so with my professional experience you'd "think" I'd be calm and cool but when it comes to my K9'S I probably over worry until I know they are going to be fine!💆‍♀️❤️🦮🦮🦮 I would DEFINITELY HIGHLY recommend Pine Meadows Veterinary Hospital to anyone who wants compassionate, friendly, GREAT professional care for their pets!❤️🦮🐩🐕😺
