I have only ever had the best experience with Countryside Animal Hospital! I would recommend them to anyone - fair prices, friendly staff, and skilled doctors.
I am a retired veterinarian. I have known Adine and worked with her. We take our Jack Russell to her. Very thorough and compassionate. Highly recommend. Dr. Richard Rodgers
It seems that the front desk issue has been going on for sometime. If your employee can’t run the front desk or talk on the phone with professionalism she shouldn’t be answering the phone or the first one you see when you walk in. It is pretty bad when you do not try to make it easy for your customers. Maybe you have all the customers you want and do not need anymore. Every time we have needed a copy of a shot record we have to drive up and get it. The excuse always is our email isn’t working. If you were just around the corner from us it wouldn’t be a big deal. If the older lady in the front can’t operate a computer maybe you should consider putting someone in there that can. It just might be time for her to retire.
I have been a customer for well over 10 years now. My past and current pets have all loved the vet and techs there. It makes me sad to have left Adine on one hand but on the other, not so much. Whether it’s in person or on the phone the receptionist isn’t nice at all. She is just plan rude and doesn’t seem interested in being helpful at all. I have dealt with her long enough at this point. It’s a shame…. I would really expect better service being a long standing client than what we have received in recent years.
I booked an appointment to neuter my Boykin after relocating to the area. They kindly helped gather shot records and the vet made $260 in recommendations, which I agreed to do. I even brought a fecal sample as recommended when booking. Dr. Pearlman asked if I was going to become a new patient. As I just moved, I was open to the idea but didn’t respond with an exuberant yes! She left the room to “think” and when Dr. Pearlman returned and said she didn’t want to piss me off - she would not neuter my pup. I suggested I be a new patient. Instead, Dr. Pearlman ushered us out. She lost a new patient, $260, plus a $750 neuter. Venting that her day was “interesting” and proceeding to take it out on patients (and likely her staff) is not kind nor professional. Still confused by our interaction with Dr. Pearlman.
