Claws & Paws Animal Care

I have been using Claws and Paws since they opened in Powhatan. They have had and continue to have the best veterinarians. The techs and office staff are exceptional as well. I know my pets are getting the best care available at Claws and Paws.

Claws and Paws Animal Care is absolutely wonderful! From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with genuine friendliness and care. The employees are kind, professional, and truly passionate about animals, you can tell they truly love what they do. After having a horrible experience with a neighboring veterinarian (Cumberland Animal Hospital) I was so relieved that Claws and Paws was able to get me an appointment the very next day. That alone meant so much during a stressful time. The veterinarian is knowledgeable, patient, and takes the time to explain everything clearly, which really puts you at ease as a pet owner. My dog was treated with compassion and respect throughout the visit. Their prices are very reasonable, especially considering the high quality of care and service they provide. It’s refreshing to find a clinic that offers excellent veterinary care without feeling overpriced. I highly recommend Claws and Paws Animal Care to anyone looking for a trustworthy, caring, and affordable place for their pets!

We were camping from out of town when our abbys insulin was accidentally frozen. Claws and Paws went out of their way to reach out to our vet, and filled our 13 year old Yorkie poos insulin. Thanks to these guys our little one was literally saved!! Can't say enough great things!💗
