We've been taking our dogs to Reston Animal Hospital for years. On more than one occasion, they saved our dog's life. Dr. Cracas is amazing and caring. I would trust her with any pet.

Front staff was welcoming; was efficient and compassionate. Dr. Hinkson was patient and supported me through a difficult time as we awaited test results for my dog. He caught something that could have been potentially very dangerous to my dog.The assistant who was working with Dr. Hinkson was positive and encouraging and did her job well. I even met some nice patients and their pets in the waiting area. Overall, my dog and I had a great experience.

An Absolute Lifesaver for Stressed-Out Pet Parents! I cannot thank the incredible team at Reston Animal Hospital enough for their kindness, quick thinking, and professionalism during a very stressful travel emergency with our 7-month-old puppy. While traveling, we accidentally cut our pup’s nail way too short, resulting in what felt like an uncontrollable amount of blood. We tried the classic flour trick to stop it, which worked momentarily, but the bleeding started right back up. Panic definitely set in, and we called Reston Animal Hospital. They immediately told us we could walk right in, upfront and transparently letting us know there would be a sick appointment fee (which we were completely fine with given the situation). By the time we actually arrived, the bleeding had thankfully slowed down drastically. Instead of making us wait or rushing us through a clinical assembly line, the staff was incredibly kind and tended to our puppy right there in the lobby! They examined the nail, cleaned up the mess, and applied Kwik Stop to ensure he was good to go. What blew me away was how attentive and comforting they were to us—because by the time we got there, our puppy wasn't even worried about his nail anymore, but we were still totally shaken up! If you are looking for a veterinary team that combines medical efficiency with genuine compassion, this is it. Huge thank you to the entire team for taking such amazing care of our fur baby (and his humans) when we needed it most!

I asked for an estimate on a teeth cleaning for my dog. They wanted me to give them full authority to pull any teeth that they wanted while my dog was under anesthesia. I told them no, I wasn’t okay with that. They became incredibly angry at me and told me I didn’t know anything about dogs. Bunch of clowns working here. Never going back.
