Beyond the normal care they provide which is excellent, I had a very specific beurocratic question that they couldn't solve, but they were immensely helpful and patient and explanatory about the entire process, making it much easier in the long run.

Well designed environment, polite, helpful and attentive staff, and Dr. Dunnavant takes the time needed to explain what he thinks is going on and what needs to be done...all the time paying attention to his patient, giving rubs and love to keep them from being scared!

Im making this review nearly a year later because I was recently asked if I had any recommendations for vets in the area. Last Summer, I had called ahead to schedule an appointment for my sweet, very old, golden retriever with massive tumors and very weak legs. It was a hassle to carry him from one place to another, but his condition was worsening, so I scheduled and emergency check up for the next couple of days. The lady who answered confirmed the date for an upcoming Monday. After taking a lot of time to get Rocky into the car, a very stressful experience for him, we arrive and are told there is no record of an appointment. They were dismissive as I was insistent that I had called ahead. It turns out the young lady in the front desk had mistakenly added the wrong date for my appointment and never double checked. She had added the appointment for the Monday before even though I called on a Wednesday or Thursday. We had taken the day off work to make this appointment. They just stood there staring at us and told us there was nothing they could do. The vet would not see us. I understand that mistakes happen and she looked very young, and I’m sure it wasn’t intentional, but we were left without an alternative and just had to go home. They never called to check up on him afterwards either. I was able to get an appointment with the Centralia Animal Hospital and they were so kind, considerate, helpful. The environment was completely different and warm. They were also so attentive and thorough and were consistently calling to check up on him until his passing, nearly 3 weeks later. I don’t think that extra week would’ve made a difference, but it would’ve avoided another stressful day for our already fragile boy. I would never recommend this place.
