My sweet Shepherd developed a horrible ear infection overnight after a tick bite. He's gotten ear problems in humid environments before but he couldn't even have the area around it touched without crying. Called Eagles Nest as a new patient and they got him in 5 or 6 hours from the time I called for an overall wellness exam. Even with their computer issues after these severe storms, they got him back and immediately tested his ear. They also got him a new heartworm test as a precaution after I asked. When I talked about another company reaching out to get HW meds delivered to my home, they were more than happy to tell me how they'll process the request. We even set up a preventative allergy plan for next year. They gave me a price estimate before giving him his ear meds and a breakdown. My MIL owns a shelter in Maryland and our heartworm bloodwork was in the same price range. While I have had nothing major done on my baby, as a new patient they took amazing care of him and gave him the ability to sleep through the night without pain. Probably going to go there for his grooming next.

Dr. McIntire was very good with my boys. She examined them all and gave them their shots. They were very cooperative with her unlike their previous vet in Maryland. I am very happy as visiting the vet with them use to be stressful for me and this was an uneventful visit in a good way. My youngest even allowed her to trim his dew claws and that usually is a wrestling match at home for my son and I coupled with my previous vet refusing to even try to trim their nails. Overall a great visit and glad I found Eagle's Nest Animal Hospital.
