Dr Z is the best veterinarian I have ever used. He researches different approaches and truly cares about his patients. I lived outside of Richmond for 15 years after using him for many years and would still contact him for guidance on my bulldogs.

I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Z and the entire staff at Pouncey Tract Vet. Dr. Z was absolutely wonderful with my dog, Remi. I had just found out Remi had a rare cancer on his jaw bone and of course I was devastated. Dr. Z took the time to listen to my concerns, thoroughly explain everything, and walk me through options. His compassion, knowledge, and genuine care for Remi gave me peace of mind during a very stressful situation. The staff was incredibly attentive, helpful, and kind throughout this time. I am truly grateful I found Dr. Z and his entire team. If you are looking for a vet who truly cares about both pets and their owners you've found the right one.
