Disappointing communication and lack of accommodation for language barriers I am writing this review to share my recent experience regarding my dog’s treatment and the clinic’s lack of support for clients with communication barriers. During our initial appointment, Dr. Erika Johnson prescribed medication for my dog. Unfortunately, the dosage was too high, and my dog experienced severe side effects. Because English is my second language, I find it difficult to explain complex medical conditions over the phone. During the appointment, I explicitly asked Dr. Johnson if I could bring my dog back in person after 5 days to show her the condition. Since she works Wednesday through Friday, we agreed I would come in on Wednesday. When I arrived on Wednesday, the front desk staff insisted I should just call instead of coming in. I explained my language barrier again and said I was happy to wait. They told me the wait would be 45 minutes, which I accepted without issue. However, after 25 minutes of waiting, the receptionist informed me that Dr. Johnson would not see me at all and that I had to leave and call. What is most disappointing is that Dr. Johnson was in the back office and could clearly hear this conversation, yet chose not to step out for even a moment to help. This felt incredibly dismissive, especially considering she had repeatedly emphasized during our paid appointment how important it was for me to keep her updated on my dog's status. While the staff may appear friendly during paid consultations, their lack of empathy and refusal to accommodate a simple language barrier when a pet is suffering is highly unprofessional. I hope they take this feedback seriously to improve their patient care and accessibility.

Don’t waste your time here. They won’t answer the phones, hours that are on the Kenner website don’t match, and they don’t even follow the schedule that is posted on the door. I understand the “send us an email” to a point. But when I’m trying to get an immediate answer to a question I’m not going to wait several days to possibly hear back in an email. I tried to walk in at 15:24 and the sign was flipped to “Closed” despite the fact the posted schedule (which already had edits with a marker) said 1300 to 1600 on Thursdays.

Tried to get some help and advice for my dog to travel overseas. Only got wrong info at the front desk which stressed us out even more.
