I have a 12 year old Yorkie and she had a seizure but recovered and was doing fine. I was worried and decided to take her for a check up. She had slight high liver enzymes and maybe bacteria infection I was told. So I was given two antibiotics amoxicillian and metronidazole and Denamarin. The meds made my dog sick. She started getting weak in hind legs couldn't hardly stand up. Quit eating. Then I took her for two weeks check up. She had rattle in her chest when I pick her up. They did xrays and put her Lasix for fluid. She immediately started getting to weak to stand. I called the Vet and was told to make her take the meds she needed them because fluid around her heart. Friday she was down couldn't get up I called and they refused to see her because they were in surgery. Made an appointment for Monday. We had to take her to Air Port Emergency Hospital over the weekend to prevent her from dying. They also gave her metronidazole which. I think she had a bad reaction to.. She became so ill they wanted to youthanize her Monday morning when. I went to get her. I refused and brought her home. i have a very sick weak dog. I'm trying to not blame anyone but my friends are all angry and screaming she did this to your dog. Well I took her for a check up to get a diet instructions for care in her condition. They wanted to keep her I had no more money for thst and they charged me an additional amount for food and advice. There's no way I'm leaving my dog with them. Now I have maxed out what I can afford and no more help for my Yorkie and I'm am about to have a heart attack from heart break because I'm trust 4Paws and my baby suffering for it . I thought they cared they don't. They did not have not any remorse for her condition when I took her back so sick If my dog dies the lasix and the antibiotics the Vet gave her here is what did it. I know she has health issues but had I kept her home she would still be with me awhile longer. Instead I'm have a broken heart and 4Paws cashed their checks and refused to answer a message I sent them while my dog suffers with multiple problems and not much chance of recovery. Who is to blame. Only God knows but they have turned me against ever trusting another Vet!!! UPDATE SHE PASSED AWAY SATURDAY EVENING. I absolutely cannot get it out of my head how my dog carried on and did not want to go to this Vet after first visit. Please take your dog where people have experience and where you get the best care? Once they are gone it's to late to care.🐾😭

Absolutely amazing staff and the doctor is above and beyond any veterinarian I've ever seen. My canine companion of 11 yrs had her first medical emergency and these women showed me on the first visit that they are in this line of work for the right reasons. Thank you all for everything you done

Only cares about money and not saving animals. I get you need the money but it's really shitty turning away a dying animal because you won't have the money for a couple days.
